Terms of service

Welcome to Hobart-Dishwashers.co.uk, operated by TT Commercial Trading Ltd. By placing an order with us, you agree to the following terms. For full legal details, please see our Terms & Conditions of Sale.

Ordering

  • Customers are responsible for checking that the items ordered are correct for their needs (size, specification, and requirements).

Delivery

  • Free delivery is available on orders over £175 + VAT to UK mainland addresses.
  • Orders under £175 + VAT incur a £15 + VAT delivery charge
  • Standard delivery is 2–4 working days, Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays).
  • Free Next Day delivery is available on select items.
  • Highlands, Islands and Northern Ireland will be priced separately.
  • Deliveries are kerbside/goods-in as standard and may arrive on large vehicles. Customers must ensure suitable site access.
  • Aborted deliveries due to access restrictions may be chargeable.

Inspecting & Signing for Goods

  • Goods must be inspected on delivery. Any shortages or damage must be reported immediately.
  • If damage is visible, this must be noted on the delivery paperwork before signing. Severe damage should result in refusal of the delivery.
  • By signing without noting any issues, you are confirming the goods are received in good condition.

Cancellations & Returns

  • Orders cancelled after dispatch may be subject to delivery and cancellation fees.
  • If an order is cancelled after card payment has been processed, card fees will be deducted from any refund.
  • Returns are only accepted by prior agreement, at the customer’s expense, and must be unused and in original packaging.
  • Restocking fees may apply, depending on the item.
  • Specialist, bespoke and built-to-order units cannot be cancelled or returned.
  • No returns are accepted after 14 days from delivery.

Warranties

  • Manufacturer warranties apply to all machines, under the manufacturer’s terms.
  • Warranties cover the machine only and do not extend to site services, pipework, or installation errors.

Installation

  • Installation assumes a clear site with services (water, electricity, drainage, etc.) within 1 metre of the machine.
  • Access must be suitable for moving equipment safely. Additional charges may apply for restricted access.
  • If installation is carried out by third-party engineers, TT Commercial Trading Ltd. accept no responsibility for site works or damage.

Business Purchases

  • All purchases are classed as business-to-business transactions and are not covered by consumer distance selling regulations.

Liability

  • TT Commercial Trading Ltd. is not liable for consequential loss, loss of business, or delays due to faults or delivery issues.
  • Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury where legally required.
